The newspaper Correio do Povo highlights in today’s edition, the agreement between Tanac and Banco do Brasil, which will offer resources for producers who want to invest in the cultivation of black wattle.
According to the CEO of Tanac, João Carlos Ronchel Soares, the idea is to provide different lines of costing and investment to production, which takes up to seven years to reach the first cut.
Tanac’s initiative meets one of the goals of the Sector Plan for Adaptation to Climate Change and Low Carbon Emission in Agriculture and Cattle Raising (ABC+ Plan), of the Ministry of Agriculture (MAPA), to expand the area of planted forests in Brazil by 4 million planted forests in Brazil by 2030.
