Committed to building a more sustainable, fair, and better future for everyone, Tanac has just released its ESG agenda

ESG stands for environmental, social and governance, and corresponds to an organization’s environmental, social and governance practices. In recent times, the understanding and applicability of ESG criteria have been gaining strength in Brazilian institutions – mainly due to a global market concern with sustainability.

For Tanac, conducting activities in a responsible manner, minimizing impacts on the environment and promoting the socioeconomic development of communities is a purpose and a constant commitment. The company’s responsibility, in this sense, is established through several initiatives and certifications that certify from the operation to the origin of the production inputs.

Recently, Tanac was  verified by the Bureau Veritas Certification as a negative carbon company, by removing seven times more CO2 from the atmosphere than it emits in the whole operation. It was also presented at COP27 as one of the Brazilian agribusiness companies that most contributes to the low carbon economy.

These are just a few examples that reinforce the company’s commitment to sustainability – not only of its own activities, but of the entire chain involved – contributing effectively to the construction of a more sustainable society.

Now, the company releases its ESG agenda with objectives in the areas of Environmental Responsibility, Social Responsibility and Management Responsibility. Check it out:
